We have taken many farmers under our care, all of which are based in the UK, but that doesn't mean we stop there. We also help any local food producers we find, giving these unspoken heroes the help they need to stay afloat even in their worst seasons.
Farming is a busy job, with a lot to think about. We at GreenField Local Hub help with their stock management, as well as marketing. This gives them more time for the physical aspects of farming, such as caring for farm animals or planting crops. Less tasks on their plate, so there's more food on yours.
Unfortunately, science has not yet reached a point where you can have bread teleported to your front door, so food needs to travel from supplier to store and from store to your house. Buying locally means less travel time, so food is fresher and less emissions are produced. Plus, purchasing from local stores puts money into the community, improving the area for you and other locals.
